Exciting Publication News and Writing Contests/Conference Reminders

The photograph above is the cover of a new collection of short stories being published by Scrivenings Press. I’m proud to have been able to contribute to it. My story is titled “Show Me Friendship” and it’s a prequel to my dual-time mystery series set in Mexico, Missouri.  “Show Me Friendship” introduces readers to two of my main characters. The whole short story collection, which features many wonderful authors associated to Scrivenings Press, will soon be available on Amazon.

I turned in my manuscript for the first book in my dual-time mystery series, Show Me Betrayal, in mid-November. What a wonderful feeling! I await the first of at least two series of edits, which will polish this mystery set in the past and the present. I hope you will love reading it as much as I’ve loved writing it. I’m currently working on a novella with a Christmas theme, also set in Mexico, Missouri, in 1861. I’m one of three authors contributing to this novella collection to be published by Scrivenings Press the fourth quarter of this year. A perfect Christmas present for the readers on your gift giving list.
