Only a few pages in and already I love it. Discovery near Idaho Springs by Ellen E. Withers captures the imagination right from the start. The first story in volume one and already I am hooked. A lone rider comes across a sorry bundle of humanity low in the Rockies. Turns out to be a young boy, unconscious and injured. He takes him home and gives him water and some rabbit stew. What’s his story? Can’t wait to find out. As one of the contributing authors in this volume I feel obliged to declare an interest. That said I think this may still be one of the best books I have bought in a long time if Ellen’s story is anything to go by. ~ R. Taylor
